Amenities for Apartments:

The house & gardens

The house is surrounded by gardens with lawns, flowers and trees, where you can relax with nature and enjoy the beautiful view from all angles.

The apartments have their own kitchens, but there are also two outdoor kitchens with barbecues (one with a log oven) for common use.

There is ample parking space within the property.

The swimming pool

The property includes a large private swimming pool (16.7 m x 7 m), with a magnificent view over the orchard and the Cávado valley. There is a large patio around the pool.

It is a calm place where you can relax in the shade of large oaks, cork oaks and chestnut trees (among others) or in direct sunlight. In this area, there is also an outdoor kitchen with barbecue, changing room, small gym, hot and cold showers and a complete bathroom.

The orchard includes a variety of fruit trees, such as orange, lemon, tangerine, persimmon, apple, pear, fig, cherry, kiwi, grapevine, apricot, peach, plum and many other varieties.

The top floor apartment

If you decide to rent the upstairs apartment, you can relax in the privacy of one of the suites or choose to browse the library in the main living/dining area. An excellent jacuzzi is provided in the separate bathroom on this floor.

In the living/dining room you can comfortably watch international and national TV, including applications such as Netflix, Stremio, YouTube and much more.

The balcony is the perfect place to watch the spectacular sunset and enjoy the views over the surrounding property and the Cávado River valley.

The ground floor apartment

Cereals and many other crops used to be grown and stored in the farmhouse and the ground floor apartment served as a stable for the animals. It was recently restored, however, maintaining the original design with stone walls.

One of the interior rooms has been converted into a kitchen/bar area and is filled with souvenirs (mostly hats!) from around the world. The collection was primarily built by the owners (Peggy and Mario), but many friends also contributed to this quirky and picturesque space. There are also two antique settles to sit and relax and, perhaps, taste the local wines.
